LG Env Touch VX11000 and iSync...no support?

My new LG Env Touch VX11000 recognizes iSync Bluetooth in 10.5.7 and my Mac finds my EnvTouch. However iSync says it does not support the LG VX11000. Whats up with that? What does Apple need in order to support the LG Touch. How hard could it be?

Okay, I've got a troubleshooting challenge for everyone.

I recently bought an LG enV Touch VX11000 and put in a Transcend 8 GB Class 6 microSD card. I've followed the steps outlined here to use the phone as USB mass storage and do drag-and-drop file transfer on the Mac desktop, but my 2004 G4 iBook isn't recognizing the phone as a removable drive (no, not even once I formatted the microSDHC card, plugged it into USB, set the phone to "Data" mode, and turned on "USB Mass Storage" on the phone).
Once I turn on USB Mass Storage on the phone, it even tells me "Connected", but the computer doesn't register it at all--no drive icon, no error message, no nothing.

I should mention that Bluetooth file transfer from my iBook onto the card memory works fine but is more cumbersome than direct USB transfer--and doesn't appear to allow me the option of transferring .docs and .pdfs to be read in the phone's "document reader." The phone also charges just fine through the USB port.

Any ideas out there? Am I running too old a version of OSX? Am I using a brand or make of microSD card that's partially but not entirely incompatible? Am I missing something here?
