UK Pre-order - "Shipped By" or "Delivered By"??

So, I pre-ordered my iPad, an O2 micro-sim and a case at 12.22am on the 10th May.

I notice my order status says "Estimated shipping by May 28th", so I phoned Apple to enquire as to whether I could expect delivery on the 28th.

The rep told me that some orders show "estimated delivery by May 28th" and some show "estimated shipping by May 28th"

Now, if it means they're not going to ship my iPad before the 28th..then I'm not too pleased!!

So the question is...does anyone in the UK's order status say "delivered by May 28th"??

iPad 16gb 3G, iPad case and Vodafone microsim btw way I checked via tnt Ireland - the people who got theirs 3 days ago in Italy were via UPS sounds fishy to me though, not sure it was via Apple though, will investigate 😉

lol - we have all become over grown kids - great in't it!? lol From which site are you tracking from? Have you tried the Irish tnt? I have always got on better with them for all my Mac products...

Mine shipped, according to the Apple site, on the 24 May but I've not seen anything else to suggest it's even left China. The TNT UK site thinks my order number was a parcel that was sent to Greece early in April 😟

Yep, mine was delivered to Athens - but at least it was on April 1st, which implies that Apple are just kidding. Right 🙂

Which ref are you using?
Order number says not found.
Tracking ref says it was delivered in Athens in April.

If the tracking number is still not showing properly don't panic!!! It will do sooner or later - I have the previous tracking number which was sent to Riyadh in January picked up and signed for lol tnt just reuse the same tracking number - what is not showing up this evening probably will do throughout tomorrow. But if I worked for Apple I wouldn't have given tracking numbers out until they were ready - but I don't 😉

Mine still shows shipment in transit from Hong Kong 24th May 18:00, no update yet. Maybe it took the long way round!

As for those having problems tracking I have no information from Apple in my dispatch email or on the order status page to say who it was being delivered by. In fact when I click the track button in the dispatch email Apple sent it just takes me to the order status page and nothing more. It was a case of trial and error. I found my tracking number on my order status page under 'Estimated Delivery:'. I simply tried TNT after what others had said here.
