iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call
After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?
We would easily see if this is software or hardware problem if Apple would let us downgrade back to 3.1.3. and we could also normally use phone until the fix.
On Monday I had auto-brightness switched off while recharging the battery and the phone rebooted anyway during an incoming call... I was running iOS 4.0.1 from a fresh install
@Leytonstoner:at a discussionforum here in germany someone wrote that the apple support told him that it is or has to do with the sensor, which switches the disply off during a call.
Thanks Jast_DK I'm trying your fix since this morning I had severals longs calls (over 10 mins) and no reboot . For the moment it's working thanks a lot
