iphone 4 Camera taking pictures with orange/yellow hues...

Noticed my iphone 4 takes pictures with a big blue spot with or without flash. Hard to get rid of. I would return if I thought the Apple store had any in stock.

My iPhone 4 takes very yellow pics too with indoor light...I called apple they got me a replacement phone but it has the same problem...so now I'm going to get another one it's going to be my third iPhone 4 but going to pick it up at a different apple store see if their phones are better...third times the charm lol

Same problem here. Noticed a strong yellow hue under halogen light. Held it side-by-side with my wife's iPhone 4 to make sure I wasn't going crazy and sure enough hers looked fine.

Taking it into the apple store tomorrow.

Yes, please do let us know. I'm curious if I should bring mine back to Apple due to the purple vignette on all my photos.

As a follow up. Took my iphone to my Apple store this morning. They did a restore but no fix. Same blue spot. They had the same problem with a couple in back that they were gonna swap it with. They said they (and Apple support docs) had no clue what to do and basically said it is what it is. I was short on time so I gave up and went back to work. Before I did, I randomly checked out one of the iphones on the floor and it was okay.

I will try to call Apple directly or go to another store. Kinda you know what since I had to wait in line for 5 hours for my reserved defective iphone.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I also seem to be experiencing the yellow/orange oversaturation problem, when taking pictures in normally lit room. Can this be fixed by a software/firmware update from Apple?

I also have VERY yellow pics when using the flash indoors. Which is odd. The flash is so white and on for such a long time, I don't understand why the white balance is so off. Please let me know if this is considered a defect and not just a software issue. I'm not sure why reviewers aren't seeing the same problem. I don't want to have to swap out my phone.

I just posted about the same issue. I am on my 3rd phone. The pictures and videos are Pumpkin Orange, over saturated and or noisy. Mostly skin but, totally unacceptable. A friends phone has no issue. Mine, my wife's and many people I know are experiencing the same problem. I want my 3GS back. I sold is and all the accessories. I need the camera to work correctly like the one in my 3GS.
APPLE has been great about replacing it, but the constant set up and time is starting to wear on me. I am going back tomorrow for the fourth time and my wife will be bringing hers in for the sae issue as well.

LuvApple18, hopefully the 4th one will fix it for you. Please let us know the outcome. I'll be taking mine to my local Apple store tomorrow evening as well, hoping they swap it out and I don't have the issue any further.

I have the exact same issue as you. A friends phone is perfect in all light any combo of flash, indoor outdoor ect. My phone and my wifes phone are a disaster. I am on ,y 3rd phone. Going back for number 4 tomorow night.

3rd time was not a Charm for me. Total disaster. Orange Yellow pics. Going for the fourth phone.

I'm hoping that it's just a software issue. However, if it's not corrected soon then I definitely want a replacement iPhone 4 as not everyone is having this problem.

yeah, hopefully for the sake of a fix and exchanges, it gains more exposure (no pun intended). lol.

I am also having the issue where photos appear with a heavy yellow tint when taken in a variety of indoor situations. Videos have the same issue, but I've noticed when a fair amount of sunlight is present the color appears correct.
