Whenever I want to play amazon video, Netflix, or HBO I get an HDCP error message even though I don't have a capture card plugged in... Its just a usb c to usb c cable into my monitors from my MacBook Pro. Anyone else having this issue? its pretty annoying...Thanks
omg sorry... I have 3 displays plugged in 2 thunderbolt ultra-fine displays and another with a amazon usb c to HDMi... I unplugged it and everything is working now! just can't use all my displays at once. Might have to get a compliant cable now, thanks

"USB-C" only describes the connectors on the cable.
For example, the charger cable is a USB-C cable, but it can only charge or do USB-2.
Is this a ThunderBolt cable?
Sorry I wasn't specific, its the thunderbolt cable that came with the LG ultra fine displays
