Thunderbolt suddently stop working? Macbook pro(first retina 15") after migrated to El Capitan??

I have

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)

El Capitan V10.11.06

Thunderbold port when checking system report appear to be recognize and connect to what they sare supposed to (ethernet or firewire via adapter) but that's about it, after the disk or eternet is not working.

It was before!

The thunderbolt firmware is the latest one 1.2 and i have already reset hunder of times the SMC and so on my mac but nothing has changed...

This is causing serious problem for me to perform my job. Im not certain but it's possible it's when i migrate to el Capitan that both ports stop suddently working...

Migrate to last OSX version Mojave is not a really possible option for me now due to some incompatibility im afraid i will have to face and my short disk space left...

Not really happy and in problem, please apple help!

Cheers

Well, it's a little strange that suddently both ports are not working anymore, while they are still being recognized in the system report and marked as "connected" (to firewire or eternet depending of the adapter i use)...

Is it due to El Capitan?

Strange concidence that this problem has appear in the same time that Apple officially said it will not anymore repair the first generation of Macbook Pro retina.... I wish apple was what i was it the past to be honest and have more respect for the professional they originally make their success ...
