Adobe prompt for update every 10 minutes!!

I have a Mac syill under 10.11.6 and recently (likely after an Adobe Flash update), it started to prompt me every 10 minutes or so (whatever i’m doing, not only when browsing web).

I know (and read) this is a decade-long issue.... and different solutions to just stop these nagging prompts.

What would be best (read: simple, safe and fast) way to get rid of that ? Solutions seem to be diverse over time ??....

Disable it completely

Safari > Preferences > Web Sites > Uncheck "Plug-ins".

If you want to use Flash, perhaps it is not installing properly. See these threads regarding issues installing Flash

You could also try deleting it using Adobe instructions and then reinstall
