Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. Eric, I'm not sure how to do this. Are there steps somewhere that I can follow. I am so frustrated!
You are welcome. Go back to the file in the backup and control - click on it to see if you get a restore option.
Thanks! Restoring the file from
my TimeMachine Backup solves the problem for me
Thanks a lot for sharing your fix. Works perfect. Got a happy wife back.
So, all it takes is to restore an old version a file deep in the system. Thanks! Works now.
What if I don't have this file backed up? Is there an available old file somewhere, pre December 14, or whenver this issue happened a few days ago?
I had the same issue when iTunes dd a recent update. I tracked all of these solutions, however just before I was going to implement them, iTunes did an update (17th December) which fixed it all.
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! The update fixed it. YAY!
The December 17th iTunes update fixed everything (Safari works now) but my ability to sync iTunes on my Air with my iPhone 7. Oh well.
What happens when you try to sync?
I was thinking it would do a bluetooth sync but I needed to plug it in. That worked.
