Error occurred during activation message on FaceTime and Messages.

Every time since I've had my MacBook (which is about a year) I try and set up my FaceTime or Messages, andit asks me to sign in with my Apple ID and password. I follow those instructions and it will always say, "Error occurred during activation. Try again." And to this day I still cannot sign in.

Macbook (2015 or later)
