Payment Method Declined
I am trying to purchase a book in the ibooks store. I can purchase and update apps in App Store. Every time I try to buy a book however, I put my thumb print in and then am displayed the message of “your payment method was declined” followed by “please click billing info and update your payment method...” so I click continue where it takes me to my billing info and everything is auto filled correctly except for my ccv. So I enter the correct security code and click done. It seems to work and I am again asked to put in my thumb print which I do and am I displayed with the same message again and go through the entire process over and over with no progress. I am not sure why this is happening. I tried to solve myself by looking it up and made sure I do not have any outstanding fees and also made sure all my information that was auto filled was correct. Each time I try to go to my settings and Apple ID to my payment method, the ccv is not auto filled and I try to enter it and get the same message. I even tried through this apple website to update my payment method in which everything except the ccv was auto filled. I get the message displayed in the last picture. Please help because I really need this book. I know that the security code that I am entering is correct and that I don’t have outstanding fees and that there is money on this card.
