iphone xs max keyboard microphone missing

i just got this phone over the weekend. i don't have the ability to talk to text? i have no microphone icon anywhere on the screen.

Hi tkkz71,

On the iPhone XS Max, the microphone is in a different spot, and is now under the return button in the bottom right corner.
If it's not there go to Settings > General > Keyboards > Enable Dictation
Try restarting the phone if Enable Dictation is turned on and you still don't see the microphone.

Reply back if problems are still occurring.
