I used to be able to edit a pdf in iBooks to delete a page out of the pdf file. Does this capability no longer exist?
It can be done through the print option as per YouTube video (you can select which pages to keep and delete), but you cannot save it back into the Books app. You can either email it to yourself or save it to another app.

Thanks so much. Your suggestion certainly worked, although stopping short of the goal I was trying to accomplish. And yes I realize that I didn’t spell out in the original question all I was trying to achieve. The file I was working on is a two page document. The first page is a photo, and the second page I wanted to discard, which as stated before I did. I had hoped to be able to do a “save image” on the photo to store it in my iPad “Photos”. But that is not a option when I click on the photo. I suspect that since the photo is a PDF file, it’s not in the proper format for the iPad Photos. Any suggestions I would appreciate. Thanks!
There might be apps in the App Store capable of doing what you want.
