Pro9000 Cannon Printer
I have Mac Mojave OS 10.14 can I still somehow use my Cannon Pro Printer? It says there is no longer a driver for this OS version. Is there anything I can do? Printer works perfectly fine.

Hi Dawn7119. I was also reluctant to upgrade to OS X Mojave because of my old, but perfectly functioning Pro 9000. Today I installed Mojave on an external drive, and downloaded the software for the newest available from Canon, in this case Mac OS 10.9. My testing so far shows it is working fine with the old driver.
There are no High Sierra or Mojave drivers for this printer. There are no Canon 32 or 64 bit Linux drivers. And Canon declines to provide any Windows 10 drivers, indicating that the Windows 7, or 8 drivers should work on Windows 10 with some limitations that Canon claims are currently unknown to it. The most recent driver for this printer, according to Canon, is for OS X Mavericks (10.9). What a vendor. 😭
Canon does provide High Sierra driver support for the Pro9000 Mk II, but not for Mojave.
There are no High Sierra or Mojave drivers available for the Pixma Pro9500 Mk II.
There is a Fall 2018 High Sierra driver for the Pixma Pro-1, but it cannot be installed without the Fall 2018 firmware update. It has no Mojave driver yet.
There is a Fall 2018 High Sierra driver for the Pixma Pro-10, but no Mojave support. A Fall 2018 firmware update is also available for this printer.
There is a Fall 2018 High Sierra driver for the Pixma Pro-100, and the same driver is shown for Mojave. A Fall 2018 firmware update is available.
In every case, Fall 2018 is Sept 2.
