GarageBand 6.0.5 Media Browser shows white text on white background in Mojave

I just upgraded to Mojave and am frustrated that the media browser is now showing white text with a white background (see screen shot). Files names are definitely there, but only viewable when scrolling down through them as the highlight color provides a background color. This occurs with either light or dark background selected in the control panel. Anyone else seeing this problem or know how to fix it?
