No photos tab when device is plugged in (version 12.9.2.6)

So I just updated my PC with the newest ITUNES (Dec 2018) and backed up my iPhone. I was able to sync photos but it was only under my device when setting up sync-no photos were actually accessible-just able to select option to sync. Now that back up has finished, I wanted to "view" the photos as I have on previous versions of iTunes but there is no photo tab under the summary tab of my device. Any suggestions?
