Issue with 10.3 plugins

I'm not 100% sure how to phrase this question, but I recently updated Garageband (finally) and cannot find how to adjust plugins now. I use the pitch shifter and panning tools and adjust them from the old drop down menu that read "volume". You could click the drop down and switch to "pitch" or "pan" then edit them with control points throughout the tracks.


I can no longer find this option or figure out how to adjust it. I hope this made sense and someone can help me with the solution.

the key word you're looking for is "Automation," you want to adjust the automation points for a track's effects


first you need to Show Automation from the Mix menu:



and then the popUp menu will appear:
