Issue with 10.3 plugins

cannot find how to adjust plugins [...] from the old drop down menu that read "volume". You could click the drop down and switch to "pitch" or "pan" then edit them with control points throughout the tracks.

the key word you're looking for is "Automation," you want to adjust the automation points for a track's effects

first you need to Show Automation from the Mix menu:

and then the popUp menu will appear:

Just an add-on to HangTimes solution. The automation curves are very faint and hard to see until you select the automation curve and add the first control point. There is just a faint gray line along the middle of the regions in the track.

Hold down the command key ⌘ while clicking into the automation curve to add control points.
