Mac OS Mojave 10.14.2 will not read a blank DVD

How do I fix this please

There is a bug in Mojave. It doesn't display blank disks. You can still burn disks by creating a burn folder, adding files, right/control click on the folder and choose "Burn…" from the contextual menu.

Reading DVDs with Superdrive Trying to watch a home video burned onto a DVD-R disc with Superdrive, my MacBook Pro is not recognizing the content on the disc -- disk utility says the disc is Uninitialized & all the action icons are greyed out.
