Sim Card

I purchased an ipad for someone. The Sim cards are different size. Her old one is very old. The web site did not indicate a cellular company when i purchased it.

1) can she use any celular Company she chooses such as AT&T, Or a Verizon?

2) is the change in Sim card size customary?

3) is there a way she can transfer her remaining unused monthly data since the Sim Card is a different size?

All Apple devices that accept a SIM card require a nanoSIM. You should contact your Cellular carrier for a suitable SIM and data plan for your device.

Unless your iPad was originally purchased from a Cellular carrier, it will be unlocked and usable with any carrier thar supports your iPad model. If the iPad was purchased from a Cellular carrier - and is locked to that carrier - you must approach the carrier to which it is locked to request unlocking.
