iOS pdf picture problem

Hey everyone, so I use my iPad with pdf in Goodnotes as ebook for my chemistry lesson. Everything was working buttery smooth until I updated to the iOS 12.1.1, where the pictures in the pdf started missing. I have tried opening the pdf with safari and other apps and even on my iPhone XS but the problem is still here. However, the pdf can be opened normally on a MacBook and pc. I believe it has something to deal with the iOS system?pc goodnotes

There have been some reports of issues with image rendering of PDF-files when using the iOS-native capabilities (such as the iOS Files App) under iOS 12.1.1. It is understood that a bug introduced in this release is causing the issue - and will hopefully be fixed in a future iOS update.

In the interim, the only available workaround is to install a third party PDF App from the Apple App Store. There are plently of Apps to choose from - but Adobe Reader is both “free” and is known to resolve the known issue with image rendering.
