My Apple SSD is not TRIM supported

I just bought a new to me Mac Pro 2012 with an Apple SSD. On the system report, it says "Apple SSD SM512E", but it's not TRIM supported. It is formatted HFS+. My Mac Pro 2013 has a drive that is formatted APFS is is TRIM supported. How do I get the SSD on my 2012 TRIM supported? Do I have to erase the drive and reform its? Thanks.

What OS version is on the 2012 MP?

How one enables trim depends upon the OS version

It's an OEM drive. Not OEM to this computer, however. Do you use "sudo trimforce enable" anyway? Thanks
