The app Solitaire Cube by Skillz has access to my photos. Shouldn't the app ask for permission to access my photos? When attempting to change the avatar picture it browses my photos. The app is not listed in the list of apps under Settings-Privacy-Photos. ios 12.1 iphone SE.

Well, if you're sure that you didn't give permission to access your camera roll when that app was installed, I would ask that question to the manufacturer's support team.
Please let me know about their reply.

You'd think that would be the case. What is the setting when you look under all Apps for Solitaire Cube?
I have already uninstalled then reinstalled and I do not get the prompt to allow access to photos. I do get the prompt about allowing notifications but not for photos. There’s also a keychain prompt which I allowed on the first install but not second. Thx.
Photos is not listed. Only Siri (turned off) and Cellular.
I just downloaded it and as soon as I went to change the avatar it came up with the message "Solitaire Cube" would like to access your photos with Don't Allow and OK as options. When I look at the app in Settings Photos are set to Read and Write. If you for sure didn't get that option I would say maybe uninstall and reinstall the app.
