Remove U2 Album - 2 Factor Authentication Issue

Hello,

I am trying to remove the U2 Songs of Innocense album from my iTunes / iCloud account via the website http://itunes.com/soi-remove however when I enter my Apple ID and password, I get the 2 Factor Authentication pop up on my iPhone. I tap Allow and I have a 6-digit code on my iPhone to enter, but the website http://itunes.com/soi-remove does not have the pop up to enter the 2 Factor Authentication code.

I have tried Safari, Chrome and Internet Explorer but none have allowed me to enter the 2 Factor Authentication code. How can I successfully remove the U2 album?

It seems Apple hasn't coded the website http://itunes.com/soi-remove for their 2 Factor Authentication. I think others have experienced this issue but I have not found a solution.

I also cannot disable the 2 Factor Authentication to get around this. Any ideas?

You've tried entering the code on the end of the password ? If that doesn't work you could just hide the album via your computer's iTunes (if you'd ever downloaded the album that is all the remove link would do anyway), or ask iTunes Support to do it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww

If you enabled two-factor authentication more than two weeks ago you can't remove it

Hi King_Penguin,

Thanks for your reply. Adding the code on to the end of the password doesn't work. But thanks for the link to iTunes Support. I was able to chat with someone and she removed the U2 album from my iCloud on her end. I still made a recommendation that they enable the 2 Factor Authentication on the webpage so others don't experience the same issue, but my issued is resolved now. Cheers
