My iPhone 6 spotlight has stopped working. The pull down screen is not working when locating an app. For example, when I try to find "Calc", it shows what is available in itunes store, Siri knowledge, and websites etc. I've done several reboots with no help. I'm currently using IOS 12.1.2

Then try to reinstall the iOS: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201263 the title of the article is not for your issue, but the process is the same. Choose update not restore. No data will be removed if you select update, but make sure you make the backup first just in case.
Check Settings > Siri and Search > Make sure all your apps are set to either "Siri and Suggestions" or "Show App."

I checked. All the apps are set to "Siri and Suggestions". And still not working.
Still no luck. I even went back to your first post after the reset all settings.
This worked. My spotlight search is back. Thank you.
