unknown albums on iphone

I have quite a few songs in the Music app on my iPhone that show "unknown album", even though the album information is correct on my Mac, and the iPhone shows the artwork for the album to which the songs actually belong? I have tried resyncing my entire music library, but it hasn't helped. (If it's relevant, I do not have a subscription to Apple Music.)

How do I get the songs on the iPhone to be affiliated with the album, as they are on my Mac?
