Hi - I have a large gap in a Pages document. I cannot work out how it has crept in and I cannot see anything in invisibles. When I forward delete it takes out text on the next page. Help appreciated. I'm using Pages 5.6.2 which is the latest my iMac will let me go.

Click in the paragraph after the gap. Format Panel > Text > More
Does it show a tick next to Start paragraph on a new page?

A lollipop indicates that there is an anchored object (possibly a Shape with no fill and no border).
Menu > Edit > Select All (command A)
Aha! There is the gremlin. Click on it and press delete

Sadly that solution lasted all of five minutes. I have solved it now, though - I selected the text, pasted it into an online text stripper and pasted it back. It does get rid of your font, font size, bolded text and par marks but that is a small price to pay.

Thanks Ian -- I'd already tried that. I've now isolated the snag to the lollipop-shaped anchor points but I can't get ride of them. I've tried forward and backward delete, "netting" the item, etc, but they are still there.

Nope, nothing showing when I hit Cmd-A. The snag seems to have moved further down the document, again associated with the lollipop symbols.
