iPhone XS NFC performance

Hi. I’m diabetic and use a freestyle libre sensor on my arm. The iPhone reads this sensor using nfc and reports my blood glucose levels. I have recently upgraded from the iPhone X to the iPhone XS and have noticed a severe drop in performance when trying to get a reading from the sensor. Are there any known issues with nfc on the iPhone XS? Thanks

NFC - Freestyle Libra Sensor Not Scanning I have a Freestyle Libra Sensor for which I have downloaded the Freestyle Libra App but the NFC is clearly not working on my iPhone SE 2020 as it can no longer detect the scanner, and my Apple Pay doesn't work either. The scanner did work, for about a day or two and then nothing. I have reset the phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, logged out of Apple ID and logged back in, changed my password, removed my protective case and plastic glass protector, but still it does not work. I specifically bought the iPhone SE 2020 to help manage my diabetes as the app links directly with my nurse and I don't have to link up to a PC every two weeks to send my scan results. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

iPhone 7 Plus NFC problems The NFC is reading intermittently on my sons diabetic Libre sensor. Must be phone as libre reader working fine. It’s meant to work with iPhone 7 above and his software up to date. Any clues please? Do I have to download another app other than the freestyle libre app we were advised?

Hey there!

I've done a bit of research but haven't found anything which suggests this is a widespread issue in iPhone XS models or in the Freestyle Libre Sensor. In fact, Apple has actually made improvements to NFC in the iPhone XS.

This may be something that you'll need to contact Freestyle Libre about.
