see If you can’t get onto the other device that your Apple ID was logged onto and it gives you the option to reset your Protected data do you loose everything on your iCloud as well as everything else?

Are you referring to an iCloud Keychain prompt? If so, you would be resetting secure data such as passwords and saved credit cards, but your overall data would be safe: Get help with iCloud Keychain.

But then after I click on rest protected data as the picture I just replied with shows to reset the protected data then when I click on it, it gives me this and don’t want to click on reset incase it deletes everything off my iCloud too? Any ideas of how to help or would
the keychain help with this if I turned it on?

Thanks for the reply. The only content affected by resetting your keychain will be listed in the screenshot you shared; for example, passwords, Home data, and saved credit cards. Your other data shouldn't be affected by this.

IT is because I got a new iPhone last year and this keeps appearing and I want to reset it but scared incase I loose everything even when it’s saved to my iCloud??
