Pages is only configured by Apple to use Apple Mail via the Share menu. If you set up a Gmail account within Apple Mail, then you will be able to click Send a Copy on the Pages toolbar, Choose Mail from the choices; the export document format, and a new Mail compose window will appear with the document attachment, and your Gmail acount in the From: field.

Hi Andrew,

I don't know if you can set it up to directly share a file as an attachment to an email message using any email clint but Apple's Mail.

You should be able to save the file, then add that file to an email message as an attachment using any mail client application, provided you know whee you have saved it, and can navigate to that location.

Regards,

Barry
