I had an apple tv generation 2 that I was setting up, I had lost the remote and bluetoothed my wireless keyboard to it for setup. I accidentally turned off bluetooth and now can't finish setup.
I tried the remote app on my iphone but since I cant go to settings on the apple tv, I am not able to give the phone permission..
Is there anything I can do????? Currently I have an apple tv brick. :-(
You may be able to restore through iTunes, and start over. Restore your Apple TV through iTunes - Apple Support
Or buy a replacement remote. Apple Remote (aluminum) - Apple Store
Or borrow a remote temporarily, to set up the Apple TV Remote app on your iPhone.
