iOS 12.1.2 iPhone 7+ keeps dropping WiFi

I have the same issue, in 2 locations, with numerous iOS devices (including XS). The issue is the BGW210-700 router by Arris. There is something not exposed in settings (MTU? WMM?) that drops Wi-Fi connection to iOS, and devices need to renegotiate when you take them from 'sleep' mode.

I recall a similar issue with an Asus router some time back that was fixed with a (Asus-!) firmware, and was related to low power mode. I doubt Arris/AT&T will be quick to respond to that one... :(

Am on Gigabit Fiber with AT&T, also with this router.

No idea. The issue is with your phone we are dealing with now. Reset your router. As your phone works on your works Wi-fi. Also reset network settings in general > reset

Ok fresh out of ideas. Call Apple support for further advise. Be aware they will ask what you have done. And maybe ask you to go through the step again

Same problem on my XS Max and wife's XS. Even happens on iPad air 2. Updating to 12.1.4 to see if this helps. Interestingly doesn't seem to happen at my work. I have ATT fiber at home with BGW210-700 router

Has Apple support worked with you to grab debugging logs? I have heard of this happening to Corporate managed devices as well.

That would suggest the issue is with your router

Maybe but doesn't explain why it wasn't happening a few weeks ago and a lot of other people are reporting similar problems 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have reset router multiple times. Just erased network settings and will post results back. Now on 12.1.4 FYI.

Did you figure out how to fix this issue? It’s also happening to me on my xs.

No luck with upgrading to 12.1.4 and performing network settings reset. This does not happen with boys Kindles that get push notifications when not in use. Also have 3 Apple TVs that seem to always stay connected to internet.

Im Having the exact same issue but on iPhone 7, also cant connect to Public Wifi had no issues at all until updating to latest update.

Have tried resetting Network settings & Factory Resetting iPhone but no luck
