Photos Slideshow Bugs - Naming Slideshow and Duration Settings
I created a slideshow by using the new project. First I found that when you import an album you have already put in order - when you use the "new project" feature to import the photos from an album the order of the photos does not hold. That was extremely frustrating. But I reordered using the slider (also frustrating with 400 photos) but NOW that I have all photos in the slideshow I cannot get the NAME of the show to "hold" and I cannot use the slider to control the time of the slides nor the full time of the slideshow.
#1: The name / title: I had too many photos but wanted to save the full version as an option to give the person later. So I "created a duplicate" in order to shorten the public version for a party. BUT - to differentiate the 2 versions I need to rename one of them and whenever I rename either version it automatically renames the alternate version.
#2: (and MOST frustrating): I cannot get the durations settings to hold. I see the slider options. But for both duration of slideshow and how long each slide shows the settings will not hold. This means I move the slider but as soon as I release it slides BACK to the start. And the seconds for slide duration is not anything near what the slides actually show. I set for 3 seconds and it rushes through. But I set for 4 seconds and timed the slides for more like 15 seconds each. Seems a bug.
ANY HELP? I need this ready for an 80th birthday party in a couple of days!! I thought mac photos would be an easy, smooth project but it has been hours of me on this already!
