canon printer 6200d

i just bought canon LBP6200D. it has CAPT driver. When I connect it to Airport via USB, it shows in the add printer window as a bonjour printer. I added it too. But when I try to print, it gives error. Asks me to check whether its connected. Is there JUST ANY WAY to get this to work with the airport? I am not able to share this printer connected via my mac on the network too. 😢 I am running OS X Mojave 10.14 and airport express

It may or may not be of importance in this case, but to begin with, do you have the CAPT driver version 10.0.0 (for macOS 10.14 Mojave) from Canon?
