Wacom cintiq 13HD vs Mojave

Hi there!

i've been talking to Wacom support and Apple support and both can't seem to give me a straight answer.

Will my Wacom Cintiq 13HD work on a Mac Mini running MacOs 10.14 ? Is there no way i can get it to work? Perhaps re-routing the HDMI to a USB-C using an adapator?

When i hook up the Cintiq and turn it on the display on the tablet tells me "no input signal" and this is all i get from it. I've tested it on older mac's and the tablet works perfectly. So my guess is that it's an software issue (MacOS). Can someone please help me? Should i try to sell my Wacom because it's useless now?

My setup:

Mac Mini 2018

2x Eizo monitors hooked up with DVI to USB-C adaptors

1X Wacom Cintiq 13HD in the MacMini HDMI port.

Mac mini, 10.14

Did you install the latest driver from Wacom released 1/17/19?

Received an e-mail from Wacom today. They confirmed that the Cintiq 13Hd should be compatible with MacOS 10.14. The specs on their website weren't up to date.

Yes. And i also tried a version before the latest/current one.

When in the Wacom Desktop center i see my tablet being registered and it responds to the pen. However no image being displayed on the tablet-screen.

My guess is that 2 separate monitors connected via USB-C + one tablet with a build in monitor via HDMI is something that doesn't work on Mojave somehow.

So here are my 2 Eizo monitors being listed as: "S2243W". It says they are connected either via DVI or HMDI.

Could it be perhaps that Mojave is confused if it's either of them (DVI / HDMI) And maybe 'thinks' that all HDMI ports are taken? So no more signal being send out to the actual HDMI port to the Wacom tablet?

Outside of my knowledge base I'm afraid but it does seem like something Wacom should know rather than Apple since it's up to Wacom to make their devices compatible.

I agree! However after multiple mails back and forth and a long phone call they point to Apple to solve the problem. Stating that it's probably due to their software.
