re: ipad won't sync videos

Hi all - I recently tried to sync videos on my ipad mini 3 and itunes brought up a message that it could not, and that I needed to download the Videos app.

I searched for the Videos app, and when I found it, it stated that 'this app requires specific features not available on this device.' Below that, it states in 'compatibility' that it works with this ipad.

Now I did some searches on this and couldn't find a solution that worked. I changed the info options on the films to TV shows, didn't work.

I updated all of my software, am on the latest ipad version 12.1.3 (mac is running Sierra 10.12), running itunes (12.5.0.158) and am still having trouble syncing the videos. I'm getting the same error message.

Also, all of the original videos I had on my ipad will not show up in the library in the TV app. There's nothing there.

In 'about' in settings it shows 20 videos, but will not let me access them.

Any thoughts? Watching films on my ipad is literally the only reason I purchased one in the first place. Thanks in advance.
