How to sort files by date in ascending order on Finder?

I know I can do this in list mode, but I'd really like to be able to set it to display certain folders by date created, in ascending order, in other views (either the regular icon mode or the gallery mode). I'd like to do this as it makes it easier to look through pictures in this order. Also since it is the order I am most used to from using PCs in the past, the folders were always sorted in date mode in ascending order. Having it sorted in descending order is a bit of a bother. And I've been looking this up too and can't seem to find anyone else having the same problem. The only solution I found is to use list mode but that's not really the best solution for me.

I am using Mojave 10.14.2 (recently updated) and I don't recall having this issue before? I'm pretty sure I could always changed the ascending/descending order in past versions, but I don't remember to be honest since I hadn't used my Macbook for a while.

(By ascending, I mean that I want the oldest image to be at the top, and the newest at the bottom).
