Can’t pair both Oticon Opn 3 Made for iPhone Hearing Aids. One hearing aid always drops out when I select the other hearing aid. For example if I select the left hearing aid to pair the right hearing aid will drop out. The reverse is also true.

Need help to resolve this problem. Unable to pair both Oticon Opn 3 miniRITE hearing aids at same time. Both get selected and tell me they are not connected. When I select either hearing aid to pair the device the other hearing aid drops out or disappears. I have turned my cell phone off and back on. I have reloaded Oticon On software. I have used the Forget This Device step. Nothing seems to work. The one hearing aid that gets paired works fine.

So whichever hearing aid I select to pair the other hearing aid drops out or disappears.

Many help and suggestions appreciated.

I had exactly this problem when one of my Resound HAs was replaced. The problem is that the HAs need to be paired for them both to be seen by the iPhone. This can only be done by the audiologist.

You can check if they are paired (at least with my ReSounds) because if they are paired then changing the volume or program with the buttons on the HA itself changes it on both.

I had a very similar problem. I did everything you did and I could never get them both paired at the same time. It ended up being my iPhone 6s. I could pair perfectly with the iPhone 6s that my audiologist owned. I ended up getting a new iPhone Xs. Have you tried another iPhone?
