Hey all, can anyone help me?
I can't edit or expand a clip when I drag it to the timeline in iMovie. I can only delete, trim, and a few other functions. Also, I notice a small orange line in the clip in Media. I tried a few tricks I saw online but nothing resolved the issue. What do I do??

Hi,
You expand the clips in the timeline by moving the slider that is next to the Settings button located just above the timeline on the right hand side of your screen.
The editing tools are accessed from the iMovie main menu bar at the top of your screen, and from the tool bar located at the top right of your screen.
The orange line no a clip in the media browser means that that clip is being used in the timeline of the project.
