Hello everyone,
I have an annoying issue for the past few days with an app. My messages app keep freezing whenever I try to open it, for about 5 to 7 seconds. This started to happen when I cleared some files on my Caches folder(not relevant tho).
Can anyone help me since I can't really find anything online? I'm using messages app a lot, and it's getting really annoying. I 've tried everything else.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
Can't fix this annoying thing..
Just before opening Messages...
Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
Problem seems to be resolved, after upgrading to 10.14.4.
