Why do I have so many photo folders on my iPhone 7+?

I have many photo folders showing on my iPhone 7+. Example: 101APPLE, 102APPLE, 115CLOUD thru 137CLOUD. New folders seem to be getting created without my input, why??

These all shown on my Win10 PC in File Explorer when I plug in my iPhone as folders in the folder DCIM.

Also most photos are showing as sync pending on OneDrive. How to I sync them?

Photos folders no longer in order on iPhone after iOS 13.2 updates I have a 2011 iMac running High Sierra (due to it's age, I can't upgrade to Catalina) and an iPhone 7 with the latest software. I have a reasonably large Photos library that I keep organised alphabetically in folders. I don't have a premium iCloud subscription so I manually control storage between my devices. After the latest batch of iOS13 updates to my iPhone, my photo folders are no longer syncing in the same correct order as before, they are all over the place. I've also noticed that each time I manually sync my iPhone to the iMac, instead of just copying for example 250 new photos in stage 6 of 6, it seems to copy thousands of photos. Can anyone suggest a solution I can try to resolve this new issue?

Why do deleted pictures remain on the icloud on my pc? Whenever I access the iCloud folder on my PC, there's always pictures on there that i have deleted months ago. How can I stop that from happening? How can I get the folder to match what's on the photos app on my iPhone.

Those subfolders are automatically managed by iOS, without any input by the user.

That being said, are you syncing your pictures using iCloud Photo?

Do you want to copy or archive those pics to you computer?

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support
