Safari using an outdated version of Google

Hello Community,

About a week ago, suddenly out of nowhere my google home screen on Safari looked outdated. The top menu bar on google was black, and all search results looked like they were from about 2008. After some research, it seems like it is using the old version of google as the browser is "outdated" which is inaccurate. The version is 11.1.2 on El Capitan. I have the exact same version on my other laptop and there is no problems there. I cleared all history, cookies, website data and third party extensions. Will not fix the problem. I cannot update Safari any further on El Capitan, but I believe something else is up besides the version.

Attached is a screenshot of what my safari currently looks like. Also, switching over to Yahoo browser is perfect, no issues. Although I would prefer to use Google...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Macbook (2015 or later)

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply.
