Reducing the subscription fee for LinkedIn.

I've got Linkedin Premium Business as an app on my phone. The cost is around $60 a month. I don't need all the features and LinkedIn offers another package, Premium Career for around $30 a month. That will be enough for what I need. LinkedIn will not allow me to change the package because I bought it through Apple and Apple are only offering me the Premium Business package. I guess the solution is to break the link with Apple and I manage the account directly through LinkedIn. Or, Apple allow me to take the cheaper package. Neither appear to be an option.

If a subscription option is not showing in the Subscriptions section it's because LinkedIn haven't made it available via their app and iTunes - Apple are obviously not responsible for what subscription options show for other people's apps. As LinkedIn haven't made it available then yes, you will have to cancel the iTunes version and deal directly with them.

LinkedIn are telling me that I have to go to Apple to change the subscription. The only option Apple are giving me is to renew an unwanted subscription. I don't get the option to remove the app and load up the one I want, only renew. If I dealt with LinkedIn directly, this could have been resolved immediately.

The only solution I see is to remove Apple from the control of the subscription and allow me to deal directly with LinkedIn. This is another option I have not been offered by Apple and LinkedIn can't do it because Apple are in control.

I can't believe that I am the only person to have requested a downgrade of the service.
