Duplicated Folder/Apps

so my cat stepped on my iPad and accidentally duplicated a folder somehow so now I have two apps like on my screen of certain things and wondering if it deleting it would erase both or if I should just leave when I want to know how to fix this without having to delete them and reinstall the apps

So I was able to get this resolved pretty quickly thanks to the Apple support. The best way to fix it is to not delete any of the apps basically if you do this it will cause them to create a a grayed that you can’t do a thing with and with that in mind the best option is to slowly drag all the items that are one of the folders out and then into the other folder; this may cause a weird gap issue but if that’s the case just drag them back into that the gap and I should fix itself they did recommend trying to reboot it was but didn’t have a chance to try. I have included pictures down below that shows some of what I’m talking about. If you experienced this problem and have any questions ask or just contact contact support they are very helpful. Also one more thing if you end up deleting any of the apps we end up at that ghost Icon just re-download the app and it should fix it
