Parental control does not work

I enabled parental control and selected "allow access to these web sites" seelcted only 1 web site to test but my high sierra mac was able to access everything.

why?

New Mac has some sorta parental controls and won't let me visit certain websites/apps so I got my new mac about week ago I seems I cannot play this game I downloaded or go to certain websites (ex.fox news), If I try the game it gives me this error saying You don't have permissiom to open this please contact your administrator for assistance. This is an home computer so we don't have an computer admin. Is there anyway to get pass it? the firewall is off and I've double checked our internet permissions theres nothing that should block these things. Spotify and Chrome works fine.

parental control in system preferences hi! hoping someone can help me. i just got a new MacBook and the parental control icon in system preferences is not there. is this a feature that just isn't part of the latest versions? this has Monterey version 12.1. i was using it to allow my kids to have separate accounts on the computer and control what they have access to and when. any suggestions? is there a way to get it back on?

Parental Controls will not save changes - High Sierra The title says it all. My child is using a 13" - 'late 2011' MBP. I have parental settings on it. I am an administrator on another account on the same MBP. I go into parental settings on the account. I unlock the lock...(authenticate) I have setup to only allow selected apps. I select apps. (There is no save button). I lock the lock. I exit system pref I restart system pref, go into accounts, unlock the lock check the setting and the apps that I chose to allow are no longer checked. I've done this several times. I've rebooted. Is there a way to successfully make the changes I need? Command line ? anything?

Strangely I had to restrt the High sierra mac for it to work.
