weather widgets not loading

Sorry, I guess I'm either too old or too American but does "nerfed" means it worked or it didn't work? I ask because mine are still not working on both my iMac running High Sierra and my MBA running Mojave.

Well, of course, I played with Nerf guns and footballs as a kid so I thought it may have taken on a different meaning. I did look it up at urbandictionary.com but still couldn't figure out what it means in this context!

So, to me, the mystery remains: Did the widgets work on the demo units in the Apple Store?

Deleting the weather widget and dashboard and restarting and reinstalling did not fix this problem for me. I still can't get the weather widget to update.

I did that. Still doesn't work. I think it has something to do with OS 10.14.3.

I am using a very bright LED monitor and faint things wash out with these older eyes.

Without any further action on my part, Weather Widgets returned to normal.

Same here, the weather widget takes several minutes to update after restarting or choosing a new location...

Someone in the Apple Software business, or else in yahoo, must have awakened and fixed it.

Lucky you, mine has stopped working on Thursday on MacOS 10.14.3 and refuses to show any weather, even Cupertino, no matter what I do.

I just hope that someone at Apple is reading these posts.

I got a case created yesterday, an Apple rep created a data package from my computer and sent it to tech department. I should get a call back with their findings in a couple of days.

I got one created Saturday. The Apple guy is supposed to call me Thursday afternoon with an answer. Meanwhile, still no temps.

I am having this issue as well. It could show the places I already set up, but trying to add a new place just sets the location as Cupertino with - - as the degrees.

Additionally, My OS is 10.10.5 so it's not an issue with Mac OS, it's an issue with the widget itself.

It seems odd to me that the widget stopped working for a while in February, then started working again March 2, then stopped again March 21 or 22. Curious.
