work with RAW in Photos

Raw + JPG saved to Photos, JPEG displayed. How do I "see" the RAW files, how do I send RAW to plug ins and does Photos "round trip" the completed images from those plug ins?

I am finally moving from Aperture to Photos, complaining the entire way I'm afraid. I am looking for a good in depth reference for this software.

Additionally, can Photos be set to process RAW files automatically in background as Aperture did?
