Computer playing sound through microphone (earbuds)

Whenever I'm trying to take to someone with earbuds on, they can hear the sound playing in my computer. so for example, if I am watching youtube videos while calling someone on skype, they can hear the youtube video sound as well. (This is not because the youtube sound comes out through the internal speaker and my mic captures it, please don't just say that I should plug in earphone jack properly) Below is the link of people having similar problems, but no solutions are posted.

Hey, changhyh.

I see that people can hear the sound of Youtube videos you're playing while you're using Skype with earbuds. I'm happy to help.

How do I change audio and video settings in Skype on desktop? -- Make sure that the microphone setting for Skype is set to "Default device". Test the issue if you had to change the setting.

Change the sound output settings on Mac -- Plug in your EarPods, then check the sound output settings. Make sure that "Headphones" is available.

Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- See if the issue happens when you use FaceTime to place a video/audio call.

Let me know how that goes, and take care!
