two page view in preview for a 2 page document

I have a 2 page document I am formatting for publishing. It seems preview does not allow us to view an odd page to the left of an even page, so there is no simple way to look at my all my work at once. Of course I can mess around and create multiple versions etc, but this seems like a pretty big oversight for something called Preview. There were several posts about it years ago but it seems to have faded out.

Does anyone have a solution for 10.14?

(I refuse to run Acrobat because it makes like so complicated.)
