Home kit remote access

I want to use homekit, but not have a device online. I do not have great WiFi at home and I can not leave mobile devices on WiFi. I also have an echo dot not HomePod. I want to not have device on online. Is there any way to have the hub be an echo dot.

HomeKit is an Apple protocol, and relies on Apple devices (HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad) to be the home hub. Home automation products may support other protocols. If you want to be able to control home automation devices remotely then you will have to leave them connected to your network and have that online.
