That’s not something that’s natively supported. Your printer manufacturer may have an app for their printer that you can install that may allow you to do that....or may not. All depends on the printer manufacturer and what they want to include on their app (if they have an app)
I just looked at my HP Smart Print app and I can see the ink levels with it. Hopefully you will find an app for your printer that will let you do that.
Using Airprint I do get told that the ink is low, but not which ink or how low. Just a general ‘printer is low on ink’
I got the Canon app, where the printer ink level thing is I do not know. Its a very clunky app.
Some of the stuff it links to regarding easily photoprint etc, go to the site on Safari where it states that service is discontinued.
Can Tell Apple did not make that app.....
Will just have to check when I am on my laptop
Seems like it should be something one could check without app. Will have to see if either Canon or Brother has one. Thanks, now I will not keep trying to figure out how to make the iPad do it.
With my printer and when printing from my iPad, if the ink level is low, I will get a warning that the ink level is low. Do you ever get that?
Now that you mentioned that, that is what I see too. At least I can then check further as to which tank is low.
