Creating standard user on a macbook

I created 2 standard users on my MacBook. When time comes to install Google Chrome, Mac requests to authenticate. It's asking for user name of administrator, which is me, as well as password. Is the username the name that shows up on the initial screen upon opening the Mac? Is the password the password I use to login to the Mac?

When I type these two in, there is no authentication, thus unable to add apps to the standard user's bottom task bar.

The first or only user created is created with Admin privileges.

Some Users seem to be using their Apple-ID to log in to their Mac. This was intended as a backup login mechanism. To Install software, you need to local Admin User name and Password, NOT your Apple-ID.
